All of us have a calling on our life to lead people to Christ, whether that is in our own neighborhood or across the world, all of us were called to to share the good news of Jesus to everyone. Jesus didn't die on the cross, so that only a few would have a chance to be with him in heaven, he died so that everyone could have the chance of spending eternity with him.

People will never come to Christ if all you do is argue with them. If you don't have anything that brings life to a converstation don't say it. We need to start recognizing the fact that we are all sinners and by the grace and love of God we are saved and forgiven. When we begin to recognize this, we can start giving people hope that there is a creator that loves them, cares for them and wants the best for them in their life.

Linda Seiler who currently serves as a National Chi Alpha missionary, talks to us about how we can have compassion and also not compromise when it comes to the truth while still dealing with the problems of the world. We need to show people love and respect and not judge them for how they act or what they've done and by doing this we will be able to gain influence in their lives to tell them the good news of Jesus Christ and how much he loves them.

Where Do I Start | Salt of The Earth | Pastor James Biffert
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Monday Oct 25, 2021
We can start being the salt of the earth by not just telling the people that already know about Jesus but by telling people that don't know, and we can do this when we start to value people. When we start valuing people for who they are and that is God's children, than we can start having influence in their lives. Here are five simple ways that we can add value to people in our every day lives, first we need to see people, two, we need to think of ways to add value to people, three, we need to look for ways to exercise adding value to people, four, we do things that add value to people or take action and not just have good intentions and lastly we can inspire others to value people by letting people see us add value to others. Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus valued people and so when you want to connect with Jesus you need to start valuing people.

Your Circle of Influence | Salt of the Earth | Pastor Jams Biffert

Every single one of us is an influencer, whether you want to be or not, but it's what we do with that influence that sets us apart. Paul and Silas in Acts 16, had done nothing but good by casting a demon out of a slave girl but even in their good they were beaten and flogged, thrown into jail, and shackled. It's how they responded though that is the important part because instead of cursing God for the circumstance that they were in they decided to praise him, and in there praise they were not only freed from there physical shackles but the other prisoners took note of what they had done and were also freed and stayed because the presence of the Lord was there. We all have a sphere of influence that we can start sharing the good news of Jesus too. So let's be like Paul and Silas and spreading the good news to them.

Steward of Your Influence! | Salt of The Earth | Pastor James Biffert

Monday Oct 11, 2021
Every single one of us has influence, so we need to start using it and being stewards of our influence and start spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to our neighbors. We need to stop being so scared of what other people will think of us or what they may say or what our culture says because there is only one truth that will never change and that is the word of God and that is Jesus. God created us to be the salt of the Earth, to purify, preserve, and to flavor.

We need to get rid of our biases towards different ethnicities and belief systems, because they're going to live forever whether they know it or not and it's up to us as the people of the church to tell them about the good news of Jesus. God isn't a God of favorites, he is an equal opportunity God who wants to see all of his children spend eternity with him.

It Is Who We Are! | Generosity | Pastor James Biffert
Wednesday Sep 22, 2021
Wednesday Sep 22, 2021
We were created to be generous, but we let fear and lies prevent us from being the generous people of God that we were created to be. Generosity is not just about money, it is a life style. We need to be generous with our thinking, our planning, our looking and our listening. Christ demonstrated this to us by giving up his life so that we could have access to heaven.

Help me with my Faith | Help Me! | Pastor James Biffert

The definition of faith is shown in Hebrews 11:1-2 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. We all can have faith like the ancients were commended for if we just put God first, walk with God, Act on God's word, wait patiently, Don't trust your feelings, thank God in advance and finally we need to remember that God will always do the right thing. You're not going to have it all figured out, somewhere in your heart you know this is true. But thankfully we don't need to because we can trust that God is working on our behalf and that he will never fail us. Faith is the key we put in God's hands to turn our dreams into reality.
